Occidentals “Book, Win & Travel" Win With Occidental Contest Rules

Please read the Contest Rules in their entirety before entering the Contest. Please do not enter the Contest unless you agree to these Rules. Participation in the Contest constitutes full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of these Contest Rules, which are final on all matters relating to the Contest. Please refer to our privacy policy for more information.

How to Enter
To enter the Contest, please follow these steps: Use your browser to go to " Occidental’s Book, Win & Travel”  Win With Occidental contest page at  http://www.winwithoccidental.com Click on the link beneath the graphic header entitled "Enter NOW" and follow the instructions to enter the tour operator.  In order to win any prize, potential winners must agree to the Declaration, Release and Waiver Form.

If all Contest conditions are met, an Occidental Hotels and Resorts representative will contact prize winners to make arrangements for claiming their prize. The Contest begins at or about 12:00 a.m. EST on June 7th, 2010, (the "Contest Start Date") and closes at or about midnight EST on October 31, 2010 (the "Contest Closing Date"). By entering this Contest, you agree to be bound by the decisions of Occidental Hotels and Resorts ("Occidental"), which are final with respect to all matters relating to the Contest. Occidental, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any individual who is found to have tampered in any way with the operation of the Contest.

Qualifying Bookings
Qualifying bookings include bookings at any participating Occidental property that are made between the Contest Start Date and Contest Closing Date for hotel stays from June 7th, 2010 through November 10th, 2010. Bookings can be made through a Canadian tour operator, wholesaler, or direct with Occidental. Cancelled bookings, promotional bookings or travel agent rate bookings do not qualify for the Contest. Group bookings will qualify as one individual booking. Entries are per booking not per room.

“Book, Win & Travel" Win With Occidental Prizes

There are five prizes to be won, each a ONE-WEEK HOLIDAY FOR TWO at each participating resort. The travel agent with the highest number of Qualifying Bookings at each participating hotel made between the Contest Start Date and Contest Closing Date will be the potential winner.

Participating Occidental Hotel & Resorts: Allegro Puerto Plata, Grand Cozumel, Grand Papagayo, Grand Xcaret, and Royal Hideaway Playacar

Occidental Hotel & Resorts have the right to add or delete participating hotels at any time without notice.

“Cuba Booking Extravaganza" Win With Occidental Prizes

The top 25 agents with the highest number of Qualifying Bookings at the Royal Hideaway Ensenachos made between the Contest Start Date and Contest Closing Date will be the potential winner a ONE-WEEK ALL INCLUSIVE HOLIDAY FOR TWO at Occidental’s luxurious all-inclusive Royal Hideaway Ensenachos in Cuba!

Winners must be bona fide travel agents at the time of receipt of the prize.
All prize winnings are subject to verification and will be void if faulty, altered, or tampered with in any way, or not otherwise obtained in accordance with these Contest Rules.

Eligibility
This "Occidental’s Book, Win & Travel" Win with Occidental Contest is only open to legal residents of Canada (including Quebec), 18 years of age or older who are employed as bona fide travel agents. Employees (and those with whom they are domiciled) of Occidental Hotels and Resorts, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, agents, their advertising and promotional agencies are not eligible to enter.

In order to participate, each travel agent must register online at www.winwithoccidental.com and agree to the terms and conditions of the Contest as well as the privacy policy.

General Rules
Entrants agree to the use of their names, addresses (city/town) and likenesses (e.g. photo and video) for promotional purposes for this and similar promotions, for publication, and for marketing purposes by Occidental Hotels and Resorts, without further compensation or notification. All entries become the sole property of Occidental Hotels and Resorts.
This Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.

By entering the Contest, entrants agree to hold harmless Occidental, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, agents and advertising and promotional agencies (collectively, the "Released Parties") against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described) with respect to or arising out of: (i) entrant's participation in the Contest, (ii) the receipt or use of the prizes awarded therein; and (iii) the administration of the Contest and distribution of the prizes awarded therein.

Before being awarded a Prize, potential winners and must agree to Occidental's standard form of Declaration, Release and Waiver form, releasing the Released Parties from any and all liability arising from, among other things: (i) participation in the Contest; and (ii) acceptance of the prizes awarded therein; and (iii) the administration of the Contest and distribution of the prizes awarded therein. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise. No telephone contact or correspondence will be entered into except with potential prize winners.

Occidental reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value and/or to terminate, modify or withdraw this Contest, in whole or in part, at any time, without prior notice for any reason including, but not limited to if viruses, bugs, tampering or other causes beyond Occidental's control affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Contest. In the event a substitute prize is awarded, such prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise.

Occidental does not assume any responsibility for tampering, theft, defects, viruses, human errors including negligence, deletions, technical or telephone, computer line, network, server, access providers, computer equipment or software problems, undeliverable messages, computer errors, lost, misdirected, late or incomplete entries or inaccurate capture of information or any online difficulties that may result in damage or malfunction the computer or the failure of Occidental to process any entry and otherwise award any prize. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should an attempt be made, Occidental reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
